Shawn Williamson is the managing partner of Fick, Eggemeyer & Williamson. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Illinois University. Shawn graduated with High Honors from both universities and was inducted into the accounting honorary Beta Alpha Psi and the graduate business honorary Beta Gamma Sigma. Shawn became a Certified Public Accountant in 1992 and is licensed in Illinois, Missouri, and West Virginia. He has managed over 1000 audit engagements, including non-profit organizations, governmental entities, and for-profit corporations with annual revenues of up to $3 billion.
Keith Slusser is a partner specializing in auditing and taxation. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Missouri. Keith graduated Cum Laude in 1999 and has been with the firm since 2001. Mr. Slusser is a licensed CPA in the State of Missouri and has managed hundreds of audits, including for-profit, non-profit and governmental entities. Keith is a member of the Missouri CPA Society Governmental Auditing Committee, and he manages the firm's largest governmental audit clients.
Curtis Stoll is a partner and manager of our Columbia office. Curtis is a licensed CPA in the State of Illinois and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He has been working in public accounting since 2002, except for the three years he spent as the controller of Six Flags in Eureka, Missouri. Curtis specializes in business and individual taxation and governmental auditing.
Luke Row is a newer partner in our firm. Luke has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Missouri at St. Louis. He has 10 years of experience in public accounting, working with a wide variety of small businesses. Luke prepares approximately 500 tax returns per year and performs non-profit and governmental audits.
Lee Eggemeyer is a semi-retired former partner of the firm. He is a licensed CPA and has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He was a member of the honorary professional accounting fraternity Beta Alpha Psi. Lee obtained 9 years of experience at a fortune 500 company as a cost accountant and assistant controller and then entered the public accounting profession in 1985. He founded the Columbia office in 1986 and has spoken before many groups on small business and tax related issues.

The firm was founded in 1976 by Donald L. Fick. Over the years, Mr. Fick gained recognition for his expertise in the areas of non-profit accounting and auditing, as well as individual taxation. In 1985, Lee Eggemeyer joined the firm and later initiated the Columbia, IL office. In 1999, Shawn Williamson joined the firm as an audit manager. In 2001, Keith Slusser joined the firm as a tax/audit manager. Curtis Stoll joined the firm in 2010 as a tax manager. Now, Fick, Eggemeyer & Williamson is a multi-state, multi-office accounting firm with a staff of fourteen full-time professionals and over 3,000 clients.
Fick, Eggemeyer & Williamson currently provides professional tax and accounting services to approximately 2,800 individuals, 500 businesses, 100 non-profit organizations, and 40 governmental entities. While we work primarily in the St. Louis area and Southern Illinois, the firm has clients throughout the United States and is willing to provide high-quality professional service anywhere.

For over 30 years the firm has been auditing a myriad of organizations. Currently, the firm audits over 100 organizations annually, including Wings of Hope, KDHX Radio, Joy FM, Church on the Rock, Monroe County Illinois, the City of Rock Hill, The City of Metropolis, and the Sedalia Missouri School District.
SMALL BUSINESS TAXATION
The firm also specializes in counseling small businesses regarding federal, state and payroll taxes. Our partners work with our business owners to select the most advantageous ownership entities, retirement plans and other tax saving strategies. Furthermore, our accounting staff provides high quality bookkeeping and payroll services to our small businesses on an ongoing basis.
The firm has extensive experience valuing businesses. Our staff has valued medical practices, retail stores, construction companies, electronics distributors, vocational schools and many other types of businesses with values of up to $200 million.
